About / JP Infinity

JP Singian.

Design leadership.
Built experience.

I’m an Orlando-based designer and Director of Design at Dorsky + Yue International, with more than two decades of experience across architecture and related design disciplines.

Based in Orlando, with residential, multifamily and mixed-use design experience across South Florida. Architectural project conversations are considered in the context of my role at Dorsky + Yue; independent design and visualization engagements depend on the scope and fit.

From large-scale places to objects held in the hand, I’m interested in how an idea becomes something people can see, use and experience.

01 / Background

Curiosity became
a practice.

My interest in building design began at twelve. Internships with architectural firms gave me an early introduction to the work, including experience on Dubai’s Palm Islands as a teenager.

My architectural work has included design leadership on large-scale residential and mixed-use projects, competition concepts, and the coordination needed to carry an idea toward approval and delivery. At NSU Academical Village, I led the design of the completed first phase; the second phase remains in progress.

My background spans cruise-ship interiors, landscape settings, Dubai retail environments, large-scale residential buildings and homes. Moving between those scales has shaped how I connect the spatial idea with materials, details and the experience of the people using it. Furniture, lighting, products and branding extend that same perspective.

At RTKL, my experience extended to cruise-ship interiors and Dubai Hills Mall, where I worked in Dubai on visualization and consultant coordination. These projects reinforced the importance of connecting a strong concept with the practical work of a multidisciplinary team.

Earlier marketing and graphic-design work involving Wilson and the USTA also informs how I communicate and present design. It supports the architectural work rather than defining it.

03 / Creative practice

Ideas don’t stop
at one scale.

I also make physical artwork and explore how light, pattern and movement can change the way it is experienced. In Tessellations, I 3D-printed and composed individual modules, then brought the surface to life with projection mapping.

It is another way to work through an idea: make something, look closely, and explore what it can become.

Beyond the studio

Finding balance
beyond design

Outside of design, I enjoy exploring movement through the cyr wheel. A different kind of practice, and another way to stay curious.
